Job Title: IBM MQ Specialist

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled IBM MQ Specialist to serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all things related to IBM MQ. The role involves managing and optimizing IBM MQ environments, spanning both on-premise and Azure data centers, and providing Level 1 support. The ideal candidate will also develop processes to monitor and upgrade MQ systems and create scalable MQ Consumers to interface with MS SQL Server.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the SME for IBM MQ, overseeing all MQ-related tasks.
- Establish and manage IBM MQ instances across on-prem and Azure data centers.
- Develop and implement processes for monitoring, upgrading, and optimizing IBM MQ.
- Build and maintain scalable MQ Consumers to write to MS SQL Server with XML parsing.
- Provide Level 1 support for IBM MQ environments.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in IBM MQ, especially on Windows environments.
- Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, C#, and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with capital markets, particularly port-trade workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in business process optimization and workflow automation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Ability to work in both on-prem and cloud (Azure) environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Agile SDLC and associated DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is a plus.
