Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Network Cisco LAN Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will specialize in designing, implementing, and maintaining local area network (LAN) infrastructures using Cisco technologies. You will play a key role in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our network systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and manage Cisco LAN environments, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Implement and enforce network security measures to protect sensitive data and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, topologies, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to users regarding LAN-related issues.
- Stay informed about the latest networking technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in LAN engineering, specifically with Cisco technologies.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of LAN protocols, switching, and routing principles.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with network security practices and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
