Required Skills
- Seven or more years of experience.
- Azure Experienced in Microsoft Azure:
- Microsoft AZ-700 certification is desired.
- Azure Data Lake Storage experience desired.
- Network Architecture - Experience with software-defined networking for cloud-native and marketplace tools (Palo Alto preferred).
- DevOps - Hands-on work with GitHub or Azure DevOps and associated CI/CD tooling.
- Integrating with on-prem Infrastructure - Designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Infrastructure as Code - Experience utilizing Terraform to automate the deployment of Azure resources; standardization with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) implementations.
- Networking Technologies - Knowledgeable with DNS (hands-on), Network Proxy Configuration, Load balancing, Application Gateways, Port address translation (PAT) and Network address translation (NAT).
- Security- Experience with cloud-native security tools and security compliance. Ensure network security by enforcing firewalls, VPNs, and access control policies.
- Incident Resolution - Experience performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to expedite incident resolution.
- Stakeholder Requirements - Experience guiding and facilitating a combination of both business and engineering stakeholders through a technical decision.
- The contractor should have experience creating, negotiating, and managing compute, storage, and networking resources in Azure. Subject matter expertise in planning, implementing, and managing Azure networking solutions including core network infrastructure, disaster recovery routes, hybrid connectivity, application delivery services, private access, to Azure services and network security.
