- Supporting the priorities planned and organized by the Security Architect in accordance with the roadmap for security architecture, including cloud-based initiatives
- Leading the design, construction, and implementation phases of complex systems and projects
- Supporting Risk Assessments, Penetration Tests, Vulnerability Assessments, Incident Response and Investigation, and Cybercrime Response
- Researching emerging technologies in support of security enhancements and application development efforts
- Directly supporting a range of security technology platforms, including, but not limited to, next-generation firewalls, web application firewalls, security information and event management, endpoint security and vulnerability scanners
- Performing other essential duties as assigned
Required:
- Computer-related Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in Information Security roles of increasing responsibility, resulting in strong familiarity with network and application security
- Extensive experience with standard security tools and platforms, including next-generation firewalls, web application firewalls, endpoint security and encryption, vulnerability scanners, email filtering solutions, and data loss prevention, among others
- Strong ability to understand networking concepts and effectively communicate with a Network team, including addressing, subnetting, routing, protocols, and the OSI model
- Excellent written communication skills, along with outstanding analytic, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Proven project management and organizational skills, including managing multiple concurrent projects, particularly within the boundaries of compliance and regulatory program requirements
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to multitask and adapt
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Onsite, full-time attendance
Preferred:
- CEH, CSSLP, CHFI, CCSP, GCIH, GCIA, CCNA, CCNP, ACE, PCNSE, F5-CTS, F5-CSE, Security+, or other pertinent industry-recognized certifications
- Experience implementing a cloud-based Security infrastructure
- Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry
