Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Level 2 Managed IT Administrator at Solvonex in Indianapolis, IN. The Level 2 Managed IT Administrator will be responsible for technical support, network and server administration, end user device administration, ticket troubleshooting, and overall information technology management within the organization and for our clients.
No remote candidates or head hunters, please. This is a hands on position. The candidate must be within a 45 minute drive of Indianapolis. No VISA candidates.
The position requires on-site and remote support of clients and will have a rotating, on-call scenario on weekends/after hours.
The candidate must be willing to work directly with end users and troubleshoot Tier 1 through Tier 3 related technology issues. The ideal candidate will have help desk ticket work experience, desktop support, server/network administration, and some cyber security experience ranging between 6-9+ years of IT experience. While not necessarily the most seasoned IT resource, the candidate will be a mid-level to a beginning high level tier of IT experience with room to grow still in their career. This is not an entry level position and demands several years of experience to be successful.

Qualifications
- Network and Server Administration including VLAN and IP scheme implementation, route/switch, WIFI, firewall, CDN/WAF, Active Directory implementation including end user GPO setup and PowerShell. Windows Server and Linux.
- Help Desk and Desktop Administration including ticket work, printer troubleshooting, Windows 10/11, PC hardware (must be able to build a PC from components), Office 365 including Teams and OneDrive administration, MacOS, and Adobe Creative application support.
- Candidates with warehouse technology experience highly desirable including scan guns, remote printers, and troubleshooting WIFI in warehouses.
- Cybersecurity product knowledge such as phishing, antimalware, end user security awareness training, and vulnerability remediation. If you like to hunt cyber threats and fix them, this position would allow for that concentration.
- A candidate with DevOps in their background is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills including the ability to research and find answers on their own before escalating to higher tiers of knowledge.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently. Our team moves fast, and the ideal candidate will report status back to management often but move deliberately on their own with overall guidance given to achieve the mission.
- Superior communication skills both written and verbal. The job requires a great customer service and a cheerful, out-going way of working with end users and our clients. You just also be able to document extremely well and be a fanatic about how-to information for systems.
- Being consultative and able to assess client current states of technology use and assist higher tiered IT admins with developing solutions for implementation.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+ or Network+, Microsoft MCSA and Office 365 training).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Able to pass a background and drug test with no felonies or misdemeanors/felonies for financial/theft crimes.
- Veterans with DOD experience and security clearances highly encouraged to apply.
