About The Role
DGS is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Administrator to assist in the daily management of the agency-managed Windows and Linux-based server, application, and client resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of day-to-day AWS server and client operations, including backups and provisioning of all types of AWS storage.
- Utilizing AWS serverless technologies and orchestration tools for building scalable and automated cloud-native solutions.
- Managing and organizing version control systems.
- Installing, configuring, and supporting Windows 10, Windows Server 2019, 2022, and associated software in both physical and VM environments.
- Using AWS cloud platform tools for data and process monitoring.
- Configuring and administering AWS accounts, roles, and permissions.
- Linux administration.
- Supporting Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, group policy, and VPN.
- Supporting AWS server/client-based hardening requirements.
- Troubleshooting connectivity issues from client software/device through to ISP.
- Using MS Office tools such as MS Word, Excel, Visio, and Project to prepare technical documentation.
Required Skills And Experience
- 3+ years in management of day-to-day AWS server and client operations, including backups and provisioning of AWS storage.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS serverless technologies and orchestration tools for building scalable and automated cloud-native solutions.
- 1+ year of experience installing, configuring, and supporting Windows 10, Windows Server 2019, 2022, and associated software in both physical and VM environments.
- 3+ years of expertise with AWS cloud platform tools for data and process monitoring.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS account, roles, and permission configuration and administration.
- 1+ year of experience troubleshooting connectivity issues from client software/device through to ISP.
- 3+ years of experience with MS Office tools such as MS Word, Excel, Visio, and Project.
- 1+ year of experience supporting Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, group policy, and VPN.
Highly Desired Skills
- Linux administration experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, with occasional work outside of regular hours.
- Support of AWS server/client-based hardening requirements.
