About the role:
The role provides infrastructure analysis support to the DoD and DISA, aiding USCENTCOM's ICT strategy. The analyst identifies risks, vulnerabilities, and security concerns in critical ICT infrastructure, advising on mitigation strategies to strengthen U.S. cyberspace defenses. Responsibilities include developing assessments, reports, and collaborating with U.S. and foreign partners to protect ICT systems. The role also involves monitoring infrastructure performance, supporting contingency operations, and handling Top Secret SCI-level information, while presenting findings to senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth analysis to support the development of USCENTCOM's ICT strategy
- Identify risks, dependencies, vulnerabilities, and security concerns related to ICT infrastructure
- Prepare and present multi-media presentations to senior decision-makers, highlighting findings and recommendations
- Assist DISA in identifying and protecting critical ICT infrastructure
- Provide real-time situational awareness regarding the health, performance, availability, and reliability of the ICT infrastructure
- Advise planning teams on potential vulnerabilities and risks in cyberspace operations, including planning for the defense and protection of ICT systems
- Conduct research to identify emerging issues affecting ICT operations and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with U.S. and foreign government partners to enhance Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) aimed at mitigating threats to critical infrastructure
- Support contingency operations (COOP) planning, testing, and maintenance to ensure continued mission support
- Conduct critical infrastructure reviews for USCENTCOM and DISA, mapping assets in the Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS), and analyzing mission-critical systems worldwide
- Develop global infrastructure assessments and executive summaries detailing mission impacts, key findings, costs of mitigation efforts, and timelines for implementation
- Produce monthly risk mitigation reports, addressing vulnerabilities and single points of failure
- Manage internal and external staffing actions related to risk and vulnerability identification, and develop decision papers, white papers, and presentations to convey findings
- Provide mission assurance characterization for Task Critical Assets (TCAs) by integrating data into the Master Threat Analysis Validation System (MTAVS)
- Generate biweekly reports detailing data inputs, senior leader reporting, and technical support
- Input data into MADSS and Strategic Secure Mission Assurance Data Systems, ensuring accurate data representation for senior leader reporting
Required Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in Information Assurance, Risk Management, or a related field
- Experience in DoD Information Systems, including USCENTCOM ICT infrastructure
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk mitigation strategies, and ICT infrastructure protection
- Proven ability to develop reports, executive summaries, white papers, and presentations for senior decision-makers
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and deliver accurate, timely reports and analysis
- Familiarity with tools such as MADSS, COOP planning, and Strategic Secure Mission Assurance Data Systems
Preferred Skills:
- Experience collaborating with U.S. and foreign government entities to secure ICT infrastructure
- Knowledge of TCA and ICT datasets, including data articulation and storage
- Familiarity with key risk
