We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead a talented team and drive the strategic development of our health tech products and services.
👷 Responsibilities:
Technology Leadership:
- Define and execute the technology vision and strategy in alignment with the company’s mission to improve healthcare delivery.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, product developers, and health tech specialists.
Innovation and Research:
- Stay informed on the latest trends in health technology, telemedicine, and digital health solutions.
- Identify opportunities for innovation by exploring emerging technologies to enhance our product offerings.
Product Development:
- Oversee the entire development lifecycle of health tech products, ensuring high quality and timely launches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology solutions that address real-world healthcare challenges.
Technical Architecture and Infrastructure:
- Design and implement a robust technical architecture to support the development and deployment of health tech applications.
- Ensure scalability, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations in all technology systems.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business goals and market demands.
- Provide strategic insights on leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
âš’ Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role within the health tech or related industries.
- Experience in taking part in the hiring process e.g. conducting interviews and having a good judgement on making a final decision on hiring potential candidates.
- Demonstrated success in driving technological innovation and leading high-performance teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A solid background in health technology, digital health solutions, or software development.
Tech Stack Expertise: Familiarity with a robust tech stack, including:
- Frontend: Proficiency in React.js or Angular with TypeScript.
- Backend: Deep knowledge of Node.js and Express.js, along with Python (Django/Flask) for data processing is bonus.
- Database Management: Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Skilled in hosting solutions on AWS or Azure using Docker for containerization.
- Analytics & AI: Proficiency with Apache Spark, TensorFlow, or PyTorch for cutting-edge analytics and AI applications.
- DevOps Practices: Familiarity with Kubernetes and Git for efficient workflow management.
