Position Overview: Regent Cabinet Solutions is looking for an experienced hands-on IT Manager responsible for information technology activities, including site-related hardware support, networking, cyber security, and end-user support. This newly created position will report to the Director of IT. This is a hybrid role, with an onsite requirement of up 3 days per week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, user access/security, cyber security disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service.
- Oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications, card access, security systems and peripherals.
- Simplify current hardware and software infrastructure to create a more consistent and industry standard footprint to support and enable planned growth.
- Plan, organize, schedule, and supervise the day-to-day technical support activities, including troubleshooting, meeting SLAs, root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement.
- Manage all activities associated with Regent’s Global Microsoft Admin account.
- Oversee the onboarding of all new employees to ensure hardware, software, and access is in place and appropriate training is provided.
- Create and manage simulated phishing campaigns to continually educate and reinforce proper end-user actions or non-actions.
- Manage Regent’s end-user IT Ticketing System, responding to all requests for support within established SLA parameters.
- Promote and oversee strategic relationships with external IT Partners, to implement and execute the plan of systems that drive value to the organization.
- Provide guidance and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions, and file maintenance.
- Spearhead Regent’s planned migration to SharePoint.
- Ensure the creation and maintenance of all written documentation, including system and user manuals, license agreements, and documentation of modifications and reporting.
- Prepare and administer IT Infrastructure budgets and forecasts.
- Deliver other projects as requested
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related technical field
- 10+ Years of relevant technical experience, working with internal and external customers
- Office 365 Administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Broad understanding of the current technology landscape within the marketplace, including infrastructure, security, cloud, and application development that manifests as an ability to rapidly identify technologies with the highest probability of meeting business needs
- Experience in procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and asset management.
- Demonstrated ability to apply a customer focus, problem solve, and drive continuous improvement to solutions, systems, and processes
