Job Description:
We are seeking a Network Security Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Sonicwall, specifically the 11700 series or newer versions. This role involves setting up firewalls, assisting the project team in establishing additional firewall systems, and working on the network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate and configure Sonicwall firewalls (11700 series preferred).
- Collaborate with the project team to set up additional firewall systems.
- Manage network services, routers, and switches.
- Engage with city IT management and provide technical support to the Police Department.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Skills:
- Sonicwall Integration Experience (11700 series preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Networking.
- Proficiency in VLANs and complex WAN environments.
Secondary Skills (Nice to Haves):
- Familiarity with network security protocols and best practices.
- Experience with network monitoring tools.
