Position Overview
Sampco is seeking an IT Manager for our organization. This strategic position is responsible for supporting the infrastructures of all Sampco companies nationwide.
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of the company’s IT infrastructure and systems. This role oversees companywide asset management, maintaining our suite of internal systems and services to ensure alignment is maintained in a rapidly growing organization and developing system security policies to proactively protect the company from cyber-attacks.
As the IT Manager, you will be required to work in cross collaboration with other departments regarding key initiatives and support the business in preparation for any system updates and patches as appropriate. This position requires an individual to be self-motivated and organized, with the ability to be clear and concise in both written and verbal communications.
The IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring the stable operation of the network, software programs, hardware, internet and phone systems utilizing either internal or external resources for our 130 users and 6 nationwide locations.
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager with a bachelor's degree in related field and 5-10 years of experience planning, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating and maintaining information technology systems; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The successful candidate for the IT Manager role should be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You must have strong communication and problem-solving skills; and adaptability to pivot as needed based on dynamic business needs.
