Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Vice President (EVP), Managing Director to lead and grow our agency. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing diverse marketing teams and driving business growth. The EVP, Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing aspects of the agency's operations, including P&L management, business development, team leadership, and productization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of 30+ professionals across Paid Media, ABM, Marketing Operations, Marketing Data Operations, and SEO & Content
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring the team is motivated, engaged, and aligned with the agency's goals
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and continuous learning
- Serve as a escalation point for client matters
- P&L Management:
- Own and manage the agency's Profit & Loss (P&L) for gross profit, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded with the client services team
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue streams and control costs, enhancing overall profitability
- Build and maintain a hiring plan for client services in conjunction with sales goals
- Business Development:
- Support in business development pitches and play a key role in acquiring new clients and expanding existing client relationships
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and present solutions to prospective clients
- Expand relationships with current clients
- Marketing Strategy:
- Potentially oversee marketing initiatives for the agency, enhancing brand awareness and positioning in the market
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the agency's services and attract new business
- Productization:
- Own the productization of our services, developing scalable and repeatable processes that deliver consistent value to clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to innovate and enhance service offerings, ensuring they meet market demands and client needs
- Operational Excellence:
- Streamline and optimize agency operations, ensuring efficient workflows, effective resource allocation, and high-quality deliverables
- Implement and maintain best practices in project management, client servicing, and performance tracking
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a demand generation or digital marketing agency
- Extensive experience managing teams across Paid Media, ABM, Marketing Operations, Marketing Data Operations, and SEO & Content
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and driving revenue growth
- Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and drive continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred
