Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve deployment efficiency.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, infrastructure, and application performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively manage and respond to system performance and reliability issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services.
- Experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
