Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud solutions, including virtual machines, databases, storage, networking, and security services.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Azure Bicep.
- Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost of Azure resources and services.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and implement scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
- Ensure the security of cloud environments by implementing and managing access controls, encryption, and compliance measures.
- Automate deployment processes and workflows using Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, processes, and best practices.
- Stay current with Azure updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role with a strong understanding of Azure services and solutions.
- Proficiency in Azure cloud platform components, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Networking.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and practices.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
