Solugenix is assisting a client, a prestigious and large financial client, in their search for a Technical Delivery Manager
. This is a long-term contract opportunity based out of San Antonio, TX.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient leader to assume responsibility for overseeing the performance of one or more global IT service teams (onshore and offshore). This role will involve close collaboration with client management, Solugenix senior leadership, and offshore delivery managers to ensure the seamless delivery and transparency of our services. The role will involve hands-on project work including assisting the team with technical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure highest quality of delivery of the infrastructure projects, including meeting SLAs, maintaining KPIs, System Availability, Customer Satisfaction etc.
- Provide thought leadership and take the lead in end-to-end initiatives including designing solutions, creating project plans, managing team's backlog and overseeing implementation with quality and efficiency.
- Prepare detailed design document (Low Level Design) based on the approved High-Level Design, scope of work (SOW) and requirement gathering document signed off from the customer.
- Monitor dashboard and ticket queues to ensure timely response, resolution, process adherence (Incident/Problem/Change Management) and quality documentation.
- Provide hands-on technical assistance to the team in the Infrastructure and Platform Operations & Engineering including Storage, Backup, Virtualization, Operating Systems etc.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries, escalations, and decision-making processes, providing regular updates and progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Conduct trend analysis, capacity utilization; identify and implement opportunities for toil reduction, automation, and process improvement efforts to provide value to the client.
- Participate and drive activities such as Major incident bridge calls, Audit queries etc.
- Ensure smooth onshore/offshore coordination including knowledge transition, daily stand up, handoff and escalation processes etc.
- Lead the infrastructure architectural reviews, participate in decision-making processes, and act as a mentor to all the team members
- Assist in recruitment, training, mentoring and professional development of the team.
- Engage in pre-sales activities and participate in solution design discussions.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and experiences:
- Minimum of twelve years of Information Technology experience, including at least five years of experience in global service delivery and team management, including in the above “Key Responsibilities”
- Minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in Storage, Backup, Operating Systems, and Virtualization.
- Experience in Engineering and Administration of technologies such as
- Storage: NetApp Data ONTAP, SAN, NetApp StorageGrid, PureStorage Cohesity, Brocade SAN
- Backup: Cohesity, Veritas NetBackup, AWS Backup
- Server and VMWare: EMC PowerEdge, VMware vSphere, HP Proliant, Cisco Unified Computing Solution, Avocent DSView, vRA, vROPs, Site Recovery Manager (SRM), RecoverPoint (RP4VM)
- Automation: Ansible, Terraform, Python, Powershell
- Monitoring and Analytical tools: CloudWatch, Cloud Advisor, Splunk ITSI, CrowdStrike, ActiveIQ, CyberArk, Tanium
- Infrastructure: Windows (2012/2016), Linux (RHEL 7.x/8.x), Security Incident and Event Management - SIEM, System Center Configuration Manager -SCCM, ServiceNow
- ITSM tool ServiceNow, Kanban, JIRA, Atlassian Confluence
- Minimum of three years of working experience in AWS. Certification is mandatory.
- Certification and/or experience in DevOps (Terraform, Ansible, Python), Automation, Agile, Project Management, or ITIL.
- Proven experience in collaborating with client management and senior leadership.
- Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, written, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving acumen, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Minimum eight years of Banking / financial services experience.
- Proven track record of data center modernization, security integration, and risk management. Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures (AWS).
- Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
- Expertise in designing, planning, and managing all the technologies under Datacenter, delivering large and complex end-to-end business application migration to cloud projects.
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $65/hour to $100/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
