As Sr. Platform Engineer III, you’ll have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable infrastructure solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in architecting, deploying, and managing our customer’s core platform, ensuring its availability, performance, and security.

What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a resilient and scalable platform architecture.
- Lead the planning, development, and deployment of platform components, services, and applications.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to optimize platform performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes, enabling rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Monitor platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively optimize systems for maximum efficiency.
- Manage cloud-based infrastructure and orchestration tools to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
- Drive security best practices throughout the platform, implementing measures to safeguard data, applications, and services.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across the platform stack and provide effective resolutions to minimize downtime.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Active TS//SCI clearance with CI Poly.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role.
- Expert-level hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure platform architectures at scale, in the cloud and on-premise, across multiple classification domains (IL5 to IL6+) simultaneously.
- Proficiency in AWS (Azure a plus), with a deep understanding of cloud services and networking.
- Strong hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes; specifically experience with OpenShift is highly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Experience working on an Agile development team.
- Ability to obtain privileged user access.
