Business Analyst Role & Responsibilities
- The job holder manages production support activities for all major systems and related subsystems to ensure the integrity of computer-generated data.
- S/he manages the daily activities of production control and computer personnel to insure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of problems with the user community.
- S/he is responsible for the timely escalation of significant support issues, and effectively manages the 7X24 staffing of the area.
- Job holder must have thorough knowledge of company's IT infrastructure.
- S/he must have in-depth experience with reviewing proposed changes, assessing potential consequences and effectively managing wide-impact changes to the production environment.
Business Analyst Skills Required
- Mid-to-senior level exp 7+ years of experience
- Business Analyst in securities and financial services industries
- Client-facing role so strong written and verbal communications are a must
- MBS mortgage-based security experience
- Strong user story writing skills
- Defect triage
- Test cases are reviewed and sign off on
- Agile methodology
- Product owner
- Ability to manage within Jira
- Functional expert over technical
