Title: Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with 15 to 20 years of experience in designing and delivering data solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and be proficient in data architecture, data governance, and data management practices. A solid foundation in Agile methodology and experience working as a solution architect is required to design scalable, high-performing, and reliable data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of enterprise-level data architectures that align with business needs and enable scalability, flexibility, and innovation.
- Architect and implement cloud-based data solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Develop and enforce best practices in data governance, data integration, data warehousing, and data quality management.
- Act as the lead solution architect for data-related projects, providing technical expertise and ensuring architectural alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to iteratively develop and deploy data solutions.
- Define and drive data strategy, ensuring that data architecture supports long-term goals of the business, including data migration, transformation, and analytics initiatives.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide them with appropriate solutions that align with business goals and technical standards.
- Analyze and resolve data-related issues, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of data systems.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data architecture, cloud computing, and data management, and incorporate them into the overall architecture when appropriate.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 15–20 years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a focus on data architecture and management.
- Proven experience in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, with deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and services.
- Strong experience in database management (SQL, NoSQL), data warehousing, ETL, and data governance.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile teams and delivering solutions in iterative cycles.
- Ability to lead technical teams, mentor junior architects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Deep knowledge of data modeling, big data technologies, and modern data architectures, including data lakes and streaming data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex data challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
