We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and drive our growth strategy.
As a Business Development Manager, you will qualify leads, identify sales opportunities, and leverage exploratory conversations to pitch the value of our solutions. You will book product demos to help close deals through detailed discovery calls.
- Develop and execute a strategic lead generation plan, leveraging various channels such as networking events, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media.
- Craft and deliver compelling presentations that highlight the value and benefits of Confluent solutions
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, actively tracking and prioritizing opportunities to maximize revenue generation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably in the technology industry with a focus on new business development.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with company goals and objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Maturity and self-awareness to effectively manage your day in a remote environment
- Adaptability and ability to think outside the box when addressing potential obstacles
- A team-centric attitude with a desire to collaborate, support, and share learnings with peers
- Coachability with a desire to learn and grow from feedback
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and other relevant technologies.
