Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director of Change Management to lead our organization through complex transformations and drive effective change initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of change management principles and a proven track record of guiding large-scale organizational changes. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills to ensure successful adoption and integration of new processes, systems, and organizational structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies aligned with organizational goals. Partner with senior leadership to identify and prioritize change initiatives.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of change management professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment. Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
- Change Initiatives: Oversee the planning and execution of change initiatives, including organizational restructuring, process improvements, and technology implementations. Ensure that change initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns. Develop and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the change process.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and resistance related to change initiatives. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges and minimize disruptions.
- Change Impact Assessment: Conduct impact assessments to evaluate the potential effects of change initiatives on various business units and functions. Adjust strategies as needed to address identified impacts.
- Training and Support: Design and deliver training programs to support employees through the transition. Provide ongoing support and resources to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of change management efforts. Use data to drive continuous improvement and refine strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in change management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing complex change initiatives.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale organizational transformations and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
