Job Summary: The Penetration Tester will be responsible for identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in applications and networks as part of a cybersecurity consulting project. This role involves conducting thorough internal and external penetration tests and documenting findings.
Essential Functions:
- Perform in-depth penetration testing on networks, systems, and applications.
- Identify, exploit, and document vulnerabilities.
- Provide detailed reports and recommendations for remediation.
- Retest systems post-remediation to verify security improvements.
Non-Essential Functions:
- Assist in the development of security policies and procedures.
- Provide training to junior penetration testers.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in penetration testing.
- Certifications: CEH, OSCP, GPEN.
- Experience with security tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Wireshark.
