About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Security Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. This hybrid role is based in Edison, NJ, and involves supporting and maintaining a secure Microsoft ecosystem for our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and securing Microsoft environments, with a strong focus on Active Directory, Azure, and VMware.
Key Responsibilities - Support and Maintain Microsoft Ecosystem:
- Provide third-level support for enterprise services.
- Work closely with business units to deliver services and support.
- Collaborate with third-party infrastructure partners to ensure compliance with Huber standards and IT criteria.
- Contribute to IT Infrastructure projects.
- Active Directory and Windows Server:
- Administer Active Directory, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Sites and Services.
- Manage Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) and Windows 10/11.
- Perform server installation, configuration, and patching.
- Utilize PowerShell for automation and troubleshooting.
- Microsoft O365 Administration:
- Manage Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
- VMware and Azure:
- Spec and configure VMware host hardware, including vSphere vCenter and shared storage.
- Deep knowledge of Azure and on-premises Active Directory services.
- Additional Skills:
- Experience with Okta (Identity and Access Management) and Citrix.
- Familiarity with MobileIron (MDM) and BeyondTrust Privileged Account Management.
- Project management experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with VMware, including host specification, OS installation, and VMware Clusters.
- Deep knowledge of Azure and Active Directory services.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft O365 administration.
- Solid background in managing Windows Server Infrastructure.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration is preferred.
