Job Overview
The Senior Director of Sales Strategy will play a critical role in shaping and executing our sales strategy. This executive will lead the development of comprehensive sales plans, drive revenue growth, and ensure alignment between sales activities and corporate objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales strategy, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with overall business goals. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales strategy team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Collaboration: Work closely with senior executives, marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure sales strategies are integrated with broader business objectives.

- Sales Optimization: Develop and implement sales processes, tools, and methodologies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, strategy effectiveness, and market insights to the executive team and other stakeholders.
- Customer Focus: Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty. Ensure alignment between sales efforts and customer needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in sales strategy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
