Job Summary: The Senior Director of IT Strategy will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for developing and executing the company’s IT strategy to align with overall business objectives. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of technology trends, business acumen, and exceptional leadership skills to drive transformational change across our IT functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Lead strategic initiatives and drive the roadmap for digital transformation.
- Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage. Make recommendations for technology investments and upgrades.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior executives, business leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure IT strategies and projects align with business needs and priorities.
- Budget Management: Oversee the IT budget, including planning, forecasting, and resource allocation. Ensure cost-effective use of technology resources and investments.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to IT strategy and operations, and develop mitigation plans. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of IT strategies and initiatives. Report on progress and outcomes to the executive team.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to IT projects and initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, with a strong track record of developing and implementing IT strategies that drive business success.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, data management, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective IT solutions.
