Position Overview: As an Associate Network Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will work closely with senior network engineers and IT staff to ensure network performance, security, and reliability. Key Responsibilities
- Network Monitoring: Assist in monitoring network performance and reliability, using various tools and techniques to identify and resolve issues.
- Troubleshooting: Support troubleshooting efforts for network connectivity issues, including hardware, software, and configuration problems.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Configuration Management: Assist in the configuration and deployment of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Security: Monitor network security and assist in implementing security measures to protect against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.
- Support: Provide technical support to internal users and departments, addressing network-related inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work with other IT staff and departments to support network-related projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in network administration, IT support, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) is beneficial.
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar certifications are a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
