Avint LLC is looking for a talented and driven
Zero Trust Solution Architect to join our team! We seek a proactive individual with expertise in network architecture, cybersecurity, and information technology.
A Secret Clearance is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
Design and Architecture:
- Develop and maintain the Zero Trust security architecture, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Design end-to-end security solutions that encompass identity, network, application, and data security.
- Provide expert advice on Zero Trust best practices and emerging trends
Implementation and Integration:
- Participate in the implementation of Zero Trust principles across the organization.
- Integrate Zero Trust tools and technologies, such as identity and access management (IAM), multi-factor authentication (MFA), micro-segmentation, and endpoint security.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.
Tools and Technologies:
- Evaluate and select appropriate Zero Trust tools and technologies.
- Implement and manage security tools, including but not limited to:
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions (e.g., Okta, Azure AD)
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions (e.g., Duo, Google Authenticator)
- Network security tools (e.g., Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks)
- Endpoint security solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Carbon Black)
- Micro-segmentation tools (e.g., Illumio, VMware NSX)
Security Policies and Procedures:
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures aligned with Zero Trust principles.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Create detailed architectural diagrams and Standard Operating Procedural (SOP) documentation
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, DevOps, and compliance, to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the organization.
- Provide expert advice on Zero Trust best practices and emerging trends
- Lead security projects focused on identity, access management, and network segmentation
- Provide training and guidance to staff on Zero Trust principles and best practices.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the Zero Trust security architecture.
- Risk Assessments:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Provide expert advice on Zero Trust best practices and emerging trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
- 5 Years of experience in network architecture, cybersecurity and information technology
- Experience in network architecture, cybersecurity, and Zero Trust principles
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and encryption technologies
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Familiarity with cloud security and hybrid environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
