Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Sales Director is the main point of contact for the sales team, and customer interactions. This role requires excellent direction, leadership, and communication skills. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of the sales team, ensuring metrics are met, sales quotas are obtained, and being the point of contact for any customer issues/escalations. This role requires setting of, achieving of weekly, monthly, and yearly sales quotas. This individual needs to be comfortable getting in the “weeds” with the staff and championing them to success with 1-on-1 training, education, and daily coaching.
The Sales Director will be responsible for a “go-to-market strategy” and implementation of organizational goals. Managing deliverables of the company and achieving revenue and expense objectives. Resolve customer problems and participate in important negotiations with key customers. Manage the performance of individual contributors and the team overall and grow and develop talent within ExcalTech sales organization.
Responsibilities:
- Creating a sales plan, with quotas and executing on the sales strategy.
- Managing individual and team performance to meet sales goals/quotas.
- Overseeing sales training and development for all sales employees.
- Monitoring customer accounts and outreach to decision makers.
- Mentoring individuals and championing them to success.
- Onboarding and Offboarding of sales employees.
- Analyzing the data and statistics to improve performance levels.
Required Skills:
- ExcalTechB2B growth, company market share and revenue increases.
- Overseeing and directing performance of the sales team.
- Develop new and existing customers, to generate sales revenue.
- Provide input to team on overall sales strategy, cost optimization, and disciplined process management.
- Ensure optimum sales coverage through direct and partner sales resources and different routes to markets.
- Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service.
- Develop sales resources and management talent to ensure a pipeline of qualified sales talent to support future growth. Implementation of master pipeline management.
- Build lasting, consultative relationships with customer accounts.
- Develop the consultative, solution selling capability in their organization to develop compelling business cases to differentiate and highlight the value of the company's portfolio.
- Create a performance driven culture that ensures the company has the best technology sales force in the industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of documented sales experience, preferably in hardware/software solutions.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite or comparable software.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Understanding of technology's role in improving business outcomes.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $80,000-$100,00 per year
