Title: Network Technician
Location: On-site-Columbus, Ohio
Duration: 6 Plus Months.
Interview:
Video and possibly on-site for the final interview.

this is not a very senior role; this is a cabling and basic networking.
Must Haves
- Knowledge and experience with server hardware and setup (4-post rail kits, virtual
console, etc.).
- Knowledge and experience with network cabling and transceivers commonly used in the
industry (SMF, MMF, MTP/MPO, RJ45, DB9, LR, SR, LR4, SR4, DAC, Client, etc.)
- Experience in connecting network equipment list switches, firewalls, routers, etc.
Qualified candidates will be proficient in basic networking, installation, maintenance, and
provisioning.
Responsibilities
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining routers, switches, servers, PDU/CDUs, and
console servers.
- Providing end-user support for device troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Update and maintain lab databases
- Ability to configure routing and switching
Skills
- Understand how to use a power screwdriver and the ability to handle heavy equipment
(50lbs+) using server lifts and other tools.
- Knowledge and experience with server hardware and setup (4-post rail kits, virtual
console, etc.).
- Knowledge and experience with network cabling and transceivers commonly used in the
industry (SMF, MMF, MTP/MPO, RJ45, DB9, LR, SR, LR4, SR4, DAC, Client, etc.)
- Experience in connecting network equipment list switches, firewalls, routers, etc.
- Windows and VMware admin experience is a plus.
- Knowledge about network testers (IXIA, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of standard network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, Dynamic routing
protocols, SSH/SCP/SFTP, DNS, NFS, LDAP, CIFS, SMTP, SNMP, DHCP is a plus
