Position Overview
The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing key client accounts while driving sales and customer satisfaction. The role involves developing strong client relationships, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding Microsoft products and services.
- Understand client business objectives, challenges, and needs to provide effective solutions.
- Drive sales of Microsoft products and services, including Azure, Office 365, Dynamics 365, and other solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Develop and implement account plans to achieve client satisfaction and business growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for client engagement and product adoption.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Present and demonstrate Microsoft products and services to clients.
- Provide technical and business insights to clients to help them understand the value of Microsoft solutions.
- Customize solutions to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Work closely with Microsoft technical teams, product specialists, and other internal resources.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support client needs and drive product improvements.
- Mentor and support junior account managers as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest Microsoft products, services, and industry trends.
- Participate in training and certification programs to maintain expertise in Microsoft solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities in the Microsoft cloud services and cybersecurity sectors.
- Identify and target potential clients, leveraging various channels such as networking events, online platforms, and industry contacts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the technology sector.
- Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts.
- Experience with Microsoft products and solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into business solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
