Reporting to the Director of IT and Information Security, the Systems Administratorwill join the Information Technology/Information Security team within the People & Culture (P&C) department. In this role you will perform system administrator functions for a Microsoft 365 cloud environment, with Windows endpoints, and some on-premises server and networking equipment. This position is located in San Diego, CA.
- Manage, maintain, and monitor Microsoft 365 cloud environment to include Microsoft Intune, SharePoint, Exchange, MS Teams, Power Automate, and other associated Microsoft cloud solutions.
- Assist employees with routine IT issues.
- Suggest improvements to current cloud solutions.
- Manage, maintain, monitor, and develop new Power Automate solutions.
- Manage, maintain, and monitor on-premises network infrastructure.
- Review system and security logs from SIEM and other reporting solutions.
- Assist with CMMC / DoD security requirements and assessments.
- Bid and proposal support if requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- HS Diploma Required.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a help desk environment.
- At least two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft cloud solutions.
- At least two (2) years of experience working with computer networking technologies including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- At least two (2) years of experience deploying software updates and to remote computers.
- At least one (1) year of experience managing Linux servers.
- Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Must possess strong time management skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
- Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.
- The ability to lift items that may weigh up to 50 pounds.
- Travel Required: ~10% travel required (to corporate office locations within the United States).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Desired Qualifications:
- CompTIA Security + or other security certifications desired.
- Microsoft cloud certifications desired.
- Power Automate experience.
- Working with NMCI assets a plus.
- Experience implementing NIST SP 800-171/53 controls desired.
- Experience using Microsoft Intune to manage and deploy asset software and configurations.
INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $72,000. - $85,000. This position is eligible to participate in our corporate 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) programs, and may be eligible for performance bonuses, and other rewards and benefits (see more about our compensation package and benefits offered at Culture @ INDUS | INDUS Technology). The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
