IT Manager

AMB Wealth is a Multi-Family Office and Advisory Platform providing Investment Banking, Wealth Management, and Tax & Accounting services.
We have plans to accelerate growth through geographic and product expansion both organically and through acquisitions.
We are seeking an IT Manager to join our corporate team. This role will report to the COO and will influence the firm’s technology strategy. He/she will be responsible for acting as the liaison between IT and specific business functions, understanding both business operations and development needs, providing prioritization and execution of IT projects, developing IT/business capability roadmaps and ensuring IT projects align with technology that delivers return on investment.
Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required for this role. Other responsibilities include:
· Evaluate current tech stack and prepare alternative roadmap.
· Oversee all technology operations (e.g. physical/virtual/cloud infrastructure, network security, database management).
· Collaborate with business leaders, providing strategic guidance on IT initiatives and demonstrating the value of IT services in achieving organizational goals.
· Liaise with senior management, presenting updates, insights, and recommendations to drive data-driven decision-making.
· Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the executive committee.
· Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
· Prepare and oversee an annual budget monitoring the costs of needed equipment, software, licenses, renewals, and ongoing services.
· Identify needs for new systems, equipment, licenses, and other requirements and recommend opportunities for improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
· Assist in building relationships with vendors and service providers.
· Execute business critical IT tasks such as end-user equipment configuration, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement.
· Record accurate device level information and provide IT support to each department and employee.
· Work as part of the Team providing 24x7 support as needed.
· Work with Compliance for cybersecurity and data management.
· Up to 10% travel to other AMB Wealth offices for support and projects.
Required Skills
· Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar IT leadership role.
· Windows 10/11, Office 365 Business, Adobe Acrobat, Active Directory, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Egnyte, MS Azure or AWS.
· Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy.
· Understanding of budgets and business-planning.
· Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
· Self-starter; strong bias for action.
· Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Education and Experience
· BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus.
· Minimum of 3 years in a Microsoft Environment.
· Experience with Windows 10/11, Office 365, Document Management Systems, Active Directory, computer hardware maintenance and repair, printer and copier configuration and troubleshooting, MDM and iPhone/Android phone services, Zoom, Microsoft Teams.
· A basic understanding of Internet protocols, data connectivity methods and remote access technologies.
· Ability to develop reports & dashboards and provide analysis.
