Job Summary
The Junior Compliance Risk Analyst will assist in evaluating and mitigating compliance risks across the organization. This role involves supporting the development and implementation of compliance programs, monitoring adherence to regulations, and assisting in internal audits. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Monitoring: Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of the company’s compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Support the risk assessment process by identifying potential compliance risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed records of compliance activities, audit findings, and risk assessments. Generate reports for senior management as needed.
- Policy Implementation: Aid in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Internal Audits: Participate in internal audits and compliance reviews to assess the effectiveness of controls and procedures.
- Training and Awareness: Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training programs to enhance awareness among employees.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry standards to ensure the company’s compliance practices are up-to-date.
- Issue Resolution: Help address and resolve compliance-related issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Skills And Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related role.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management principles, and compliance frameworks.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with compliance management software.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
