Title: Network Engineer or Network Infrastructure Engineer or Network Administrator

Location: Branchburg-NJ-USA

Working Model: Hybrid--3 days a week on site in Branchburg NJ

Duration: 12+ months contract

Manager Note::

Bachelor's degree required
Experience with Keysight -Manager will give preference to them.
2-3 years of experience
Focused on security firewalls testing
Maintain Firewall & Implementation firewall
80% lab n 20% in Production support The ideal candidate will have experience with F5 firewalls, Layer 1 & 2 & 3 troubleshooting
Ability to lift 20--40 pounds--(f5 firewalls large caches (take them out and put them back) blades comes in caches or heavy they can do on their own
Networking background
Testing firewall in a production environment
Layer 1 to layer 3 testing
Troubleshooting experience
Entry level in field experience
Juniper is a Plus
Scripting nice to have

Description

Position is more of Infrastructure and/or Network Security Engineer.
The work is split between 80% Lab and 20% Production support.
The lab work might involve installation and deinstallation of network equipment, testing, or documenting environments.
The production work might involve creating configurations based on the lab testing, and ensuring the configuration is successfully deployed.

Minimum Skills And Experience

Excellent understanding of network architectures including the roles of routers, switches, firewall, and application delivery controllers.
Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills, especially L1/2/3 troubleshooting skills.
Up to 2 years of advanced configuration & system administration experience with Juniper SRX and F5 firewalls, or similar.
1-2 years of experience with configuring basic routing and switching, preferable using Nokia but Juniper & Cisco is also acceptable.
1-2 years entry level of experience with installation and deinstallation of network equipment (firewalls, switches etc)
Strong project management & organizational skills, strong interpersonal and communications skills (written and oral), and the ability to multitask.
Significant experience with element management, network management tools, alarming, reporting, and network operations.
Experience with: virtualization, network management, network security, firewalls, cache servers, proxies, WAN optimizers, web servers and Linux
Experience with SNMP and SNMP based SIEM and NMS systems
Needs to be able to lift 20 to 50 pounds
