Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network/System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Hosting Admin/Infrastructure Engineer for On-premise Glassbox Monitoring Tool
Requirements:
- Hands-on shell scripting and Linux system administration experience
- Hands-on Java application hosting on Linux experience
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Shell Script, BladeLogic NSH, Python, Perl
- Basic working knowledge of regular expressions
- Thorough understanding of server certificate implementation / TLS and how to troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Strong network troubleshooting skills using various tools (Ping, nslookup, traceroute, curl)
- Good communication skills with ability to coordinate work between system admins, network engineers, end users and others to deliver solutions together
- Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative technology solutions
- Self-starter with the ability to deliver complex solutions with minimal oversight and supervision
- Experience with deployment tools such as BladeLogic, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef and/or AutoSys
- Experience working in a secure, multi-data center environment (including basic understanding of how firewall rules work)
- Experience with other monitoring tools such as Glassbox, Tealeaf or other real-user experience monitoring tools
Pay Range: $60.24 - $68.24
