Description:
The Cyber Security Engineer role is responsible for implementing, operating, and maintaining security and inventory management tools, processes, and procedures employed for securing and reducing the security risk to the manufacturing environment. A key part of this role is keeping track of and reporting progress on OS upgrades, Security Tool installs for hundreds of endpoints in the manufacturing environment using Microsoft Excel.
- Provide recommendations to Cyber Engineering management and stakeholders to create achievable and realistic deliverables
- Support Cyber Engineering management in the prioritization of security tools feature(s) and enhancement(s
- Participate in complex problem activities
- Prioritize response and remediation for emerging issues and risks
- Collaborate with Service Recipients and stakeholders to understand business pain points, their impacts, root causes, business needs, and solution realistic outcomes
- Make recommendations on toolset and process modifications and make improvements within production IT Security support.
- Participate in documentation and adherence to Security Policies and Operating Procedures.
- Any DoD 8570.01 Approved Certifications Recommended ( Network+, Security+ and etc )
- Requirements:Bachelor's degree required.
