Job Summary: The Lead Data Scientist will spearhead the data science initiatives at GhangorCloud, focusing on advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to drive business insights and innovation. This role involves leading a team of data scientists and analysts, developing and implementing data models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and data analysts.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Oversee project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Data Strategy and Implementation:
- Develop and execute the data science strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Design and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms.

- Model Development and Deployment:
- Create predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Implement and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

- Work closely with engineering, product management, and business teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.

- Explore new data sources and techniques to enhance analytical capabilities.

Qualifications
- Education:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading data science projects from conception to deployment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
