Job Title: Senior Risk Analyst
Job Summary: The Senior Risk Analyst will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization. This role involves conducting in-depth risk analyses, developing risk management strategies, and collaborating with various departments to ensure that potential risks are understood and managed effectively. The Senior Risk Analyst will also monitor emerging risks, provide insights to senior management, and contribute to the development of risk policies and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and analyze risks related to business operations, financial activities, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and controls to mitigate identified risks.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, including quantitative and qualitative analysis, to determine potential impacts on the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management practices into business processes.
- Monitor emerging risks, market trends, and changes in regulations to ensure the organization remains proactive in its risk management approach.
- Prepare and present detailed risk reports and recommendations to senior management, highlighting key risks and proposed mitigation strategies.
- Support the development and maintenance of risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to evaluate the impact of various risk factors on the organization.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices in risk analysis and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM) is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in risk analysis, risk management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.
- Proficiency in risk analysis tools and software, including Excel, risk modeling tools, and data analysis platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in identifying and assessing a wide range of risks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex risk information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement risk management practices.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in risk management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
