About this opportunity
The Total Rewards Specialist is responsible for providing support in the development, implementation, and review of the company’s benefits and compensation programs. The Total Rewards Specialist will also participate in team projects/programs which can be outside of benefits or compensation.
In this role, you will…
- Evaluates positions through job analysis and makes recommendations on level, Radford survey code, FLSA classification, EEO classification, and internal/external market alignment
- Performs compensation analysis for HR Business Partners which can include promotions, transfers, etc
Participates in domestic and international compensation surveys - Works with International offices on compensation issues and surveys
- Participates in annual merit cycle including merit analysis and reporting
- Reviews and recommends salary structure movements
- Prepares quarterly Compa Ratio report and makes recommendations based on findings
- Assists with Open Enrollment process including distribution of communications, liaison for Health Fair and Bio-metric screening events
- Manage Expatriate benefit Enrollment and Billing
- Participate and make recommendations for the Wellness Program
- Administers 401(k) program including annual testing, auditing, and reporting
- Benefit billing
- Provide support to the HR Service Center team on all escalated North America employee benefit related issues and inquiries
- Conducts audits to ensure compliance of compensation and benefit related items
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and team goals
- Complete and deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis requests as needed
- Support HR Business Partners and other HR staff in various projects/program
In this role, you’ll need …
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with Benefits and Compensation administration or Human Resources
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel for reporitng and analysis.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
- HR Generalist experience a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and strategic planning skills.
- Must be strategic, detail oriented, agile, a team player, customer focused and have great written and verbal communication skills.
- Conflict resolution, leadership and presentation skills.
