Job Title: Risk Management Director
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Risk Management Director to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive risk management frameworks. The successful candidate will ensure that the organization's financial, operational, and reputational risks are properly identified, assessed, and mitigated. This is a key leadership role, providing guidance on risk-related matters to senior executives and business units to protect company assets and promote long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee risk management policies, procedures, and strategies.
- Identify potential risks across the organization, including financial, operational, compliance, and reputational risks.
- Lead risk assessments, monitoring, and reporting to ensure timely identification and mitigation of risks.
- Collaborate with departments to create action plans for risk mitigation and monitor their effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Present risk management strategies and reports to the executive team and Board of Directors.
- Stay updated on emerging risks, trends, and best practices in risk management.
- Manage and mentor the risk management team, fostering a culture of risk awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in risk management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex risk scenarios.
- Experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
- Leadership and project management experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) are a plus.
Compensation
- Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
