We are looking for a Network Engineer for a large, global B2B high-tech company. In this role, you will design, configure, and support enterprise customers' DNS, DHCP, IPAM & NTP needs.
This is a 40-hour-per-week, 12-month contract (possibility of extensions) role. This is a hybrid role in Houston, TX.
This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K offered.
Should be flexible to work in 24*7 rotational shifts. Candidates must be willing to shift work hours to support partner peer in APJ or EMEA. Some overlap coverage for pass down.
Responsibilities
- Develop architecture and design specifications for core features and components of the Infoblox DDI core infrastructure of Working on Juniper and Arista Hardware switches.
- Assist in network & equipment problem troubleshooting.
Requirement
- 5+ years of progressive experience in network design, deployment and implementation in IT networks and network security.
- Experience working in the data center network environment.
- Strong experience in Leaf & Spine architecture.
- Should be able to assist in resolving any issues encountered due to hw/sw/config/design issues.
- Good experience in Juniper QFX 5120/5130 series of switches.
- Ethernet VPN-Virtual Extensible LAN (EVPN-VXLAN) architecture knowledge.
- Good Understanding of EVPN type routes and EVPN Type 2 and Type 5 Route Coexistence implementation.
- Proficiency in BGP routing protocols.
- Strong understanding of underlay and overlay architecture.
- Understanding of overlay services.
- Experience in upgrade and migration of core switches.
- Strong experience in troubleshooting.
- Good documentation and process experience.
- Port channel configuration and troubleshooting experience.
- IP Fabric and BFD experience.
- IPv6 experience is added plus.

Compensation: $75/hr. - $80.88/hr.
