Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst
Job Summary: Protect the organization’s IT infrastructure and data from cyber threats by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents and implementing security measures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and respond to potential threats.
- Analyze security incidents and vulnerabilities to determine their impact and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement and manage security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and risk analyses.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on security best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with network security, vulnerability assessments, and incident response.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH) are a plus.
