About the Role
Reporting to the Director of IT, Systems, Networks, and Security, the Senior Network Engineer at XTM Inc./QRails Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the Company’ s networks including, without limitation, in particular:
What You’ll Be Doing
- Network Equipment Management: Oversee and maintain all network equipment including firewalls, load balancers, switches, and routers. Ensuring all systems are updated and running efficiently..
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for all networking systems. Ensure network documentation is continuously updated and accurate.
- Process Documentation: Maintain and update process documentation to ensure all procedures are current and efficient.
- Telecommunications: Manage internet, telco and cell phone services, including the maintenance of RingCentral systems.
- Physical Security Systems: Oversee the maintenance of physical security systems as required.
- Maintain software and hardware Licensing
- Maintain networking and related systems to ensure compliance with SOC, PCI and NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks.
- Assist with after-hours and on-call support.
What You Bring to the Table
- At least 5 years of experience in a Network Engineering role, with a strong background in network administration and security.
- Expert knowledge of network infrastructure and hardware including firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
- Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
- Ability to design robust networking architectures using Cisco technologies.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
You’ll Get Bonus Points For
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) in one or more domains (Routing and Switching, Security, Wireless, etc.) as a foundational qualification.
- Deep understanding of network security protocols and methodologies
- Previous experience in fintech or a related Finance industry is a plus.
- Experience with Azure / AWS and related cloud services.
