Responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure and services to support business requirements – secure, reliable, and scalable.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards for cloud infrastructure and services.
- Create architecture diagrams and documentation.
- Optimize resources for cost-effectiveness and high availability.
- Maintenance and support of customer's Azure infrastructure, migration from onsite to Azure for new customers.
- Implement, manage, and test backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
- Look and listen for opportunities to leverage skills to improve processes and outcomes, automating when possible.
- Ability to work on a rotating ‘Engineer of the week’ on-call rotation schedule to support escalations.
- Serve as technical SME for cloud-based technologies, writing knowledge base articles for the support team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects.
- Ensure all components have adequate monitoring and logging.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services.
- Experience in designing, developing, and managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure and applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Continuously monitor and optimize Microsoft Azure resources.
- Understanding of cost optimization within Microsoft Azure and how to reduce costs without impacting performance.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, architectural diagrams, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for Azure infrastructure.
- Ensure quality, integrity, and governance standards are met throughout the engineering lifecycle.
- Previous experience managing multiple client’s environments simultaneously.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities using PowerShell scripts, templates, or other cloud-based automation tools.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practice and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, such as VPN, firewalls, and DNS.
- Familiar with Microsoft products; Entra ID, Purview, Defender, Sentinel, Intune, Exchange.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
