Auria is looking to hire a
System/Software Analyst (Verification Test Engineer) to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. Work location is in Colorado Springs, CO.
As a member of the Mission Applications Enterprise Services Product Team of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) (aka C2BMC NT), this position will participate in software design and peer reviews, develop test specifications and infrastructure, execute manual and automated test and perform analysis of C2BMC implementation in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities for interfaces or infrastructure in support of operations (e.g., Internal Messaging, control and monitoring, message and display recording and playback, failover processing). Responsibilities include coordinating lab resources, test results, and verification status with the C2BMC program and customers.
Essential Functions:
- Experience with an Agile development process
- Automated testing for requirement verification and performance assessment Requirement and verification analysis
- Conducting post-processing and analysis of collected data
- Development of action plans based upon analysis of data
- Documenting software deficiency reports and presenting analysis results and action plans orally and in written format (e.g., slides, annotated slides, test report document)
- Strong verbal/written communication skills enable them to work effectively in a small technical team environment and accurately represent test perspectives to C2BMC systems engineers and architects, software designers, other testers, test support personnel, Government customers, and personnel in other MDA programs.
Basic Qualifications:

- An active Secret clearance is required to start
- 5 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree in a STEM degree or related field; 3 years' experience with a Master's degree in a STEM degree or related field; or 9 years' experience in lieu of a degree
- Must have experience testing and evaluating a software-intensive system utilizing Agile development in various test environments/venues
- Strong, self-starting individual capable of diving into problems with assistance from other test engineers and software developers
- Experience should include using DoD test methodologies, functional capability-related test/analysis planning and execution, planning and execution of test data collection, and test data analysis and reporting
- The analysis experience should involve characterizing system, software, or component performance using quantitative methods, reporting the characterization to subsequent users, and contributing to performance assessment by program system engineers. This experience may come from independent efforts and participation within test teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possessing a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) Is highly desired
- A master's degree is highly desired
- Experience in a DevSecOps environment is extremely desirable
- Occasional Travel between Colorado Springs facilities/sites is expected. Infrequent travel to Huntsville, AL, may be required
Salary Range: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level ($99,000 - $110,000).
