The position is onsite 5x weekly in Germantown

Responsibilities

Design, implement, troubleshoot, and manage routing and switching of Enterprise Customers’ terrestrial networks.
Ensure the secure transmission of network traffic through network nodes.
Work on different vendors like Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Velcloud, Cradlepoint products to build and manage Customer networks.
Enable new features in networking devices and implement network systems improvements to enhance network performance and reliability.
Configure and support Enterprise Customers' routers and switches with networking protocols to ensure seamless communication among network devices.
Work on Windows and Linux servers to troubleshoot network issues and to analyze network performance.
Perform firmware upgrades on networking devices for bug fixes and enhancements.
Use Python Programming Language for config management in cloudify orchestration system and use Python to automate processes.
Excellent communication skills

Requirements

MS degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field and 2-3 years’ experience in Customer Network Engineering, or
BS degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field plus 5 years' experience in Customer Network Engineering.
