The Department of the Navy (DON), Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) is acquiring support services for the development of networks, infrastructure, data architecture, tools and. The effort is to connect sensors and generally improve networking and data capabilities. Critical is the development of networks, infrastructure, data architecture, and tools and analytics that support the operational and developmental environment that will enable sustained maritime dominance for years to come.
Salary range - $120,000-$155,000 DOE.
Responsibilities:
The Candidate shall provide functional knowledge and technical support of developing enterprise architecture to support MBSE.
The Candidate shall monitor, maintain, enhance and manage all system (software/hardware/network/configuration and data management) operations and system administration, integration, and data transfer for modeling and simulation tools, architecture tools, and data repositories.
The Candidate shall research analysis of missions, tactics, equipment, interfaces, and resource allocations to new and developing systems and programs.
The Candidate shall locate and research all relevant valid data to build the model, including both systems data and operational data.
The Candidate shall ensure missions are traceable to Required Operational Capabilities and based on Integration and Interoperability baselines.
The Candidate shall provide systems engineering support in analyzing and/or projecting performance of future systems.
The Candidate shall conduct tests, evaluate results, and develop reports (quick-look, final test, and lessons learned) and present findings and conclusions for laboratory testing of systems, software, tools, and products.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems. Additional years of experience and certifications may be considered in lieu of a formal 4-year degree.
6 years of experience in Government related Research & Development (R&D), Test & Evaluation (T&E), and systems acquisition programs.
4 years of relevant Systems Integration engineering experience.
Security+ Certification or equivalent
Secret Clearance.
Preferred Skills:
Master's Degree in a quantitative field, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
10 years of experience in Government related Research & Development (R&D), Test & Evaluation (T&E), and systems acquisition programs.
6 years of relevant Systems Integration engineering experience.
