iCallidus is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to support the Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) implementation. This role involves ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and information systems. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in cybersecurity, particularly in Zero Trust principles, and will provide critical support to the Zero Trust implementation initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Protect sensitive information in accordance with policies and risk levels, focusing on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Encrypt all sensitive data and information both in transit and at rest, ensuring compliance with current standards.
- Secure all devices that store and process information and ensure compliance with encryption standards.
- Respond to all alerts/Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) within 24 hours.
- Protect sensitive information, including Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and follow protocols in the event of a suspected or confirmed incident or breach.
- Complete mandatory security awareness, privacy, and records management training before commencing work and annually thereafter.
- Ensure compliance with Rules of Behavior for all employees performing on the contract.
- Collaborate to develop and implement an enterprise Zero Trust roadmap.
- Conduct detailed analysis and assessments of current Zero Trust capabilities and gaps.
- Maintain and update the ZTM scorecard, reflecting the actual ZTM level for each system.
- Assist with the identification, evaluation, and testing of new tools and technologies to enable Zero Trust capabilities.
- Provide strategic design innovation (SDI) support and engage with industry and vendors as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 3 years focused on Zero Trust Architecture or similar security frameworks.
- Proven experience in incident response, information protection, and system security engineering.
Certifications:
- CISSP, CISM, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications are highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and their application within an enterprise environment.
- Expertise in encryption technologies, incident response protocols, and security compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Clearance:
- Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance as required by the contract.
