Director - Enterprise Program Management Office Responsibilities
- Own enterprise-wide coordination of multiple complex and strategic company programs with a high degree of ambiguity and constant evolution, connecting the dots across workstreams to enable high quality and on-time delivery of outcomes.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of the most critical projects and programs regardless of topic or prior experience. Projects are a mix of short-term (6 months or less) and long-term.
- Demonstrate a willingness to roll up your sleeves and work shoulder to shoulder with your teams, taking on tasks that may not traditionally fall into activities considered project management, in order to better understand the work or unblock the team.
- Help drive continuous clarity with program teams as business and/or program strategy definition evolves over time.
- Work across our company, applying broad strategic influence, continuously unblocking teams, aligning teams toward simple, coherent approaches.
- Help teams make trade-offs between short-term and long-term needs and ensure teams are able to find a path forward in difficult situations.
- Effectively run and manage the business cadence of programs (meetings, planning, reviews) as needed, driving detailed discussions, high-level alignment, and complex decisions.
- Be a top-notch communicator, regularly producing detailed and executive-level and team-level verbal and written communications of high fidelity, and including taking and sending meeting notes, when needed.
- Continuously improve, streamline, eliminate excess process, drive efficiencies, and create standardization of work when possible.
- Be a conduit, not a bottleneck.

Director - Enterprise Program Management Office Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in program or project management.
- Proven experience owning 2 or more concurrent complex programs and end-to-end delivery with multiple workstreams.
- Proven experience contributing to major company initiatives and development of business strategies.
- Experience working directly with C-suite executives including independently building and leading presentations, facilitating and participating in discussions, and providing key inputs to strategic decisions preferred.
- Global thinker with experience working on initiatives involving teams around the world preferred.
- Readiness to stretch yourself by saying yes to assignments outside of your experience and comfort zone.
- Highly organized individual with strong time management, problem solving, and team facilitation skills.
- Highly proactive with an ability to work with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
- Ability to rapidly understand the interworkings of complex systems and workflows among teams, with a driving need to understand not just when and by who the work must be performed but also the why and how.
- Sound business judgment, leading with data, and comfortable making quick decisions.
- Strong influencing skills to create harmony and build consensus around customer needs without direct authority.
- Compelling storyteller with exceptional written and verbal skills to communicate to an executive audience.
- Able to follow rigorous standards but flexible enough to balance which of your own activities and stakeholder commitments are most important across your entire portfolio of projects.
- High level of curiosity or passion for learning about new products, people, and market segments.
- Eager to dive deep, participate in healthy debate, and align differing viewpoints around the best path forward.
- Willingness to voice tough questions and offer solutions, knowing that your ideas and experience are valid but are also only starting points for learning more from your subject matter experts.
- Active PMP, PRINCE2, Lean/Six Sigma, Agile Certified practitioner preferred.
- Solid understanding of our company's processes, systems, teams, and ways of working preferred.
Compensation: From $70.00 to $80.00 per hour
