Brief Description of Job Duties:
Socation: San Jose, CA (Onsite)
Objective: Complete tasks relating to Migration from legacy Nortel PBX system to Cisco VoIP platform.
Specific Tasks:
- Assess - Current state of Nortel PBX system and map out Analog & Digital ports.
- Recommend - Future state with Cisco VoIP platform
- Implement - Future state of the new system.
- Test - Test future state in non-production environment
- Support & Maintain - Support issues & questions coming from the future state
- Knowledge Transfer - Knowledge transfer to County personnel regarding the future state.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Working knowledge of Cisco VoIP/Telecom and Nortel PBX system
- Ability to design and/or configure the network infrastructure for deployment of Cisco Unified Communications technology.
Experience Requirements:
- Hand-on experience of Nortel PBX system.
- Hands-on experience on all aspects of Cisco VoIP technology & its implementation (e.g., CUCM, Unity VM system, Paging etc.).
- Have worked in a hospital environment
