Required Skills
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Microsoft Windows server and client OS (Windows 2008-Windows 2019)
- Patch Management & Backups/Restores (Rubrik experience a plus)
- VMware management (VxRail & Nutanix experience a plus)
- Microsoft PowerShell scripting
- Administration of Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Server & SAN Hardware (Dell experience a plus)
- Experience working in a global or multi-office infrastructure.
What would you do as our Sr. TechOps Engineer?
The Sr. TechOps Engineer maintains smooth operation of end-user computer systems, server infrastructure (On-prem, Private, & Public Cloud), security analysis and mitigation, and works in concert with other areas of IT as needed. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance (hybrid), installing system-wide software, and allocating mass storage space (SAN/NAS). Other duties include, but are not limited to, managing SaaS solutions, PaaS environments in our public clouds, and evaluating existing & emerging technologies for functional fit. The Sr. TechOps Engineer will act as an L3 resource for the End-User Services team; providing guidance as well as expert knowledge in complex issues. The right candidate can blend between server infrastructure and complex end-user issues or highly visible end-user projects. Knowledge of M365 platforms as they relate to infrastructure, identity, and collaboration is important. You will be interacting with key stakeholders, users, and vendors.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Operate and maintain all Production, Pre-Production, and Development systems in a Hybrid Windows and Linux environment.
- Perform System Administration activities to include: account management, management of system resources (CPU, memory, disk, etc).
- Monitoring systems and auditing system logs, back-up and recovery, continuity of operations, security, and managing operating systems.
- Testing and installation of new software, tools, and future versions of all software and Operating Systems on a regular basis.
- Assist with Security related RCAs and assist in remediating security vulnerabilities reported by the Security Analysts.
- Responsible for Security Patching/Remediation for Server & End-User client(s) including reporting, planning, and deployment.
- Perform Systems Lifecycle management including planning, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, consolidation, and decommissioning of enterprise hardware, and software.
- Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure systems are compatible with defined architecture and meet customer needs.
- Develop technical documentation, including user guides, test plans, installation documents, and change management rollback plans.
- Helps develop, document, communicate, and enforce technology processes and procedures.
- Provide support with escalated Global Service Desk (GSD) incidents.
- Lead for complex End-User computing projects as well as work with our Global IT team on projects and initiatives.
- Mentors less senior team members and educates users on new technology.
Desired Skills
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008-2019
- Linux systems administration
- Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
Required Education
- A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience
- In-lieu of a Bachelor’s degree a minimum of 10 years professional experience
Desired Certification(s)
- Applicable Microsoft certifications (Examples: MCSE, MCSA)
- Cloud-based Certifications (Azure, M365, AWS)
